The New Civil Rights Movement reports on the Campbell’s ad featuring a gay family and the inevitable conservative shit fit that follows:
Remember the adorable Campbell's Soup ad from last month? The one that pays homage to Star Wars, with one dad saying “Cooper, I am your father,” and the other dad saying, “No, no, no! I am your father,” while they both feed their son a spoon full of soup? That was a real family, and fit perfectly into Campbell's advertising campaign, "Made for real, real life."
Of course, One Million Moms went ballistic, and the ad got a lot of press, especially after Stephen Colbert poured cold water all over the piping hot OMMs.
Meanwhile, on Campbell's Facebook page, anti-gay consumers were quick to weigh in, attacking the 146-year old iconic company and threatening the company's demise.
One agitated customer got dealt with in the best possible way:

Perfect.
